Ocean Express Agencies (Pvt) Limited - Container Liner Agency

Ocean Express Agencies (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of OEG, has been handling the Middle East's largest container line, PSL for the past eight years. Ocean Express Agencies dedicatedly represents the container division of PSL.

PSL's Pakistan volume has risen from 1,000 TEUs in the year 2001 to 15,000 TEUs in 2006. This exponential growth in PSL's Pakistan market share truly reflects the capabilities of professionals working at Ocean Express Agencies.

Currently, Ocean Express Agencies (Pvt) Ltd has been handling 4 to 6 PSL container vessels per month with an average export volume of 350 TEUs and import volume of approximately 300-350 TEUs per vessel. Ocean Express is represented by its upcountry offices in Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.

Warehousing and Logistics

Swift Supply Chain Management (a subsidiary of Ocean Express Group), combines local competence with market knowledge resulting in a truly independent network that offers a unique setup for our customers. Our logistics infrastructure has allowed us to strengthen our operational ability as well as increase local market penetration. We are always looking for new ways to optimize reliability, efficiency and quality.

OEG offers warehousing facilities, cargo warehousing, goods storage warehousing, transportation and custom clearance services. We have dedicated warehouses near Pakistan's port city of Karachi making us an ideal choice for customers requiring storage, sequencing, and consolidation.
  • Inland cargo transportation
    We have a strategic partnership with PTN, the largest cargo transportation company in Pakistan. We handle cargo transportation to and from all major Pakistani cities.
  • Inventory tracking system
    OEG employs the latest technology to maintain and track materials in the warehouse; the process is done through the WMS (a database driven computer program). The WMS is used by logistics personnel to improve efficiency by directing storage material. The WMS also helps in maintaining accurate inventory by recording warehouse transactions.
